Playground
Located just beside the main parking lot, the playground is fenced in, and partially shaded. It features a swing-set and two jungle gyms. There are a few benches to sit and watch the kids, as well as picnic tables. You can also find the park’s bike rack just outside the playground.

Picnic Tables
The park has covered picnic tables near the restroom, as well as smaller tables scattered throughout the park. There are no grills here, so you will need to bring along ready-to eat foods for your park lunch.

Dog Park
Waterfront Park has a fenced in dog park. It is fairly well shaded, has a small obstacle to play on, provides water and bowls for when your pup gets thirsty, and has a waste station with bags.

Trail
There is a short loop trail in the park that starts out paved and transitions to a hard-packed shell/rock/dirt and grass path. The total length of the loop trail is about 0.85 miles. The paved section begins at the park’s walk-in entrance, spans 0.18 miles, and features a slight incline. At the top of the “hill,” the paved path ends, and you can turn right to continue along the loop. The unpaved portion of the trail crosses a short boardwalk, offers scenic water views, and features benches along the way to sit and relax.

Floating Dock – CLOSED
The park’s floating dock, a popular spot to go fishing, is currently closed due to damage.

Restrooms
Not too far from the playground, the park’s restroom is located near the paved handicapped parking spot, and is adjoined by the covered picnic tables,

Canoe & Kayak Launch
Access Millers Bayou via the park’s kayak launch. Keep in mind, the water can be low beneath the boardwalk, and you may need to portage to reach the bayou.

Dog Friendly
In addition to the dog park, leashed dogs are welcome at Port Richey Waterfront Park. You can find a few dog baggie stations scattered about.

Sunset at Port Richey Waterfront Park
Overlooking the water, the park is a nice setting to catch a sunset. We recommend bringing along bug spray when heading to the park this time of day.
