Located in Safety Harbor, North City Park is a quaint park tucked away in a residential neighborhood. At a little over 9-acres, it is a fairly well shaded park that is popular with locals for its tennis courts, dog park and great playground.
Playground and Swings
Conveniently located near the restroom and the pavilion, the playground is well shaded. Just across the paved trail from the playground is the swing set.
Little Free Library
Take a book or leave a book; the park’s Little Free Library is located near the playground.
Picnic Shelter
North City Park has one covered picnic shelter, which is available to reserve. At 54’x40′, it houses 8 eight-foot tables and is located near the restroom, playground and open field. There is no grill provided, so you will need to bring along ready-to-eat foods.
Open Green Space
The park has a sun-soaked open green space large enough for a sporting event, or other fun gatherings.
Basketball Court
Enjoy a game of hoops at the park’s basketball court. The court is partially shaded and has a few nearby picnic tables.
Tennis Courts
A popular feature among local residents is the park’s tennis courts. The courts are ideal for a game with friends or private instruction.
Dog Park at North City Park
While leashed dogs are welcome in the park, you can let them off-leash to have some fun at the fenced-in dog park. The dog park has plenty of shade, a small obstacle course, provides water, waste bags, and a few benches to sit while Fido plays.
Restrooms
The park has a restroom available, which is located near the playground and the basketball court. You can find a water fountain on the side of the building.
A quiet and peaceful neighborhood park, this is an ideal location for nearby residents to enjoy some time outdoors.
