Public Boat Ramp at Nicks Park
Nick’s Park features a public boat ramp, giving boaters access to the Pithlachascotee River and Gulf of Mexico via it’s single-lane ramp.
Covered Picnic Tables
There are two pavilions here, each with two picnic tables. There are no grills provided so you’ll need to bring ready-to-eat food for a meal at the park.
Benches
With the benches facing out toward the water, this can be a nice spot to catch a sunset.
Parking at Nicks Park
The parking lot has 18 vehicle-with-trailer parking spots available, and 13 spots for single unit vehicles. Being a popular spot, weekends and holidays can be very busy here. (If you can’t find parking, the bait shop across the street has parking for a fee).
Fishing
Fishing is allowed at the park, but not from the dock. Be sure to check licensing requirements before dropping your line.
Restroom
The park has an ADA-accessible restroom available. Though the boat ramp access is 24/7, the restroom gets locked at dusk, and is open again in the morning.
Additional Information
It can be a little buggy here at times, so you may want to bring along some bug spray for your visit to Nicks Park.
There is a bait shop conveniently located across the street from the park.
