John Chesnut Sr. Park is a beautiful and peaceful place to enjoy nature. On your visit you’ll likely see a variety of birds, deer, gators, turtles and squirrels. If you live in or are visiting the Tampa Bay area, it’s definitely worth it to stop by. We do recommend bringing along bug spray, while we were mostly unbothered by mosquitos during out time here, there are a few areas in the park where they like to swarm.
