Frances Avenue Park

Nestled between trees, Frances Avenue Park’s ADA-accessible playground offers plenty of shade. There are a few benches to sit and watch the kiddos, and it is conveniently located between a pavilion and the restrooms.

Picnic Shelters

The park has three picnic shelters, available to reserve for a fee. The larger of the three is adjacent to the playground with multiple tables, a grill, and is preferred for those looking to host a party. The two smaller shelters have one table each, but do not have a grill.
In addition to the shelters, you can find one uncovered picnic table, without a grill, not too far from the kayak launch.

Canoe/Kayak Launch

Offering access to the Pithlachascotee River, the kayak launch is ADA-accessible. There are two handicapped parking spots just to the left of the launch, while the main parking lot is a short walk to the launch site.
The launch is also a spot locals like to use for fishing from the river.

Open Green Space

You can find a decent sized open green space at the park, great for a game of tag, frisbee, or bringing a blanket for a relaxing afternoon lounge.

Restrooms

Frances Avenue Park has a restroom available, which is located between the parking lot and the playground. You will find a water fountain located just outside the bathrooms.

Basketball Court

Popular with local teens, the park has a basketball court for a fun game of hoops.
