Located along the Pithlachascotee River in New Port Richey, Cotee River Park is a small roadside park popular with local residents. Featuring a short walking trail, you can enjoy the river views and the adorable houses lining Grand Blvd. Grab the leash and bring Fido along, as this park is dog friendly!


Enjoy some lunch by the river. The park boasts 6 covered picnic tables and 6 uncovered picnic tables. There aren’t any grills here, so you will need to being along ready-to-eat foods.
The pavilions and picnic tables are first come first served, and can not be reserved.

Cotee River Park features a paved walkway that meanders along the river. With a mix of sun and shade, the path is about 0.34 miles long and is lined with benches, providing a place to stop and enjoy the river view.

Located on the Pithlachascotee River, the park is a popular spot with locals for dropping a line into the river. The park provides two fishing line disposal stations. Don’t forget to check licensing requirements.

Take a book or leave a book-the park has a Little Free Library.

Leashed dogs are welcome at Cotee River Park. You will find a few dog waste stations for you to clean up after your furry buddy.

Parking is free. There are three dirt parking lots for your convenience, located along Grand Boulevard.
