Lillian Bryant Park is a vibrant neighborhood recreational area spread across 22.49 acres of sun-drenched greenery. The park offers a variety of recreational facilities, including a splash pad, playground, ball field, basketball courts, and a fitness trail.
Playground
The kids will love the playground, with swings, jungle gym and even more fun equipment. There’s a few benches to sit and keep an eye on the kids, as well as a few picnic tables. The playground is partially shaded for comfort, and has a nearby water fountain.
Lily’s Splash Pad at Lillian Bryant Park
This fun-filled water play area is located near the restrooms. Complete with shaded picnic tables, a bike rack, and a water fountain, it’s just a stone’s throw away from the playground. In season, the splash pad is open from sunrise to sunset, it is closed for the winter in late November, and opens again in mid-March.
Picnic Tables & Grills
The park features several picnic tables in various locations. Some of the picnic tables have grills available for barbecues. Both pavilions also have grills for use.
Pavilions
Lillian Bryant park has two pavilions available for reservation, each equipped with a grill. The large pavilion is located near the restrooms and the NW 16th St. parking lot, and the smaller one is close to the playground.
Ball Field
The park features a ball field with bleacher seating. There is a nearby picnic table, and water fountain. The ball filed is available for rent, you can call (352)368-5525 for more information.
Basketball
Enjoy a game of basketball on the park’s courts, partially shaded for comfort during our hot summer days.
Open Green Space
Enjoy a picnic under the shade of the park’s beautiful Spanish moss-laden trees or enjoy some frisbee in the open green space.
Dog Friendly
Furry friends are welcome at Lillian Bryant Park, but must remain leashed and stay off the playground and splash pad. Don’t forget to bring your baggies, as waste bags are not provided.
Fitness Trail
A little over a mile long, walk or run along the parks paved fitness trail, with 4 exercise stations along the way.
Lillian Bryant Community Center
The community center is available for rent and includes a full kitchen and seating for 120 people.
Restrooms
The restrooms at Lillian Bryant Park are ADA accessible, and located nearby the Splash Pad and large pavilion.
Parking
Ample parking is available at the main entrance parking lot, with additional spots on NW 23rd Ave, and a small parking lot on NW 16th St(right by the large pavilion).
